Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Cardiometabolic (the "Service") you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement. The Service is intended for your own personal, non-commercial use.

3. What the Service is — and is not

Cardiometabolic helps you aggregate and understand your own cardiometabolic health data and generates advisory, non-diagnostic insights with AI assistance. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. It does not replace a qualified clinician. Never disregard professional medical advice because of something you read here, and seek urgent care for any emergency.

4. Your account

• Provide accurate information and keep your password secure.
• You are responsible for activity under your account.
• Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.

5. Connected providers

You may connect third-party providers (e.g. Withings, Garmin). Their data and your use of their services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. You can disconnect a provider or revoke access at any time from your provider account.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service — including not to:

• access another person's data or attempt to breach isolation or security;
• upload unlawful content or infringe others' rights;
• probe, scrape, overload, or reverse-engineer the Service except as permitted by law.

7. Availability & changes

We work to keep the Service available but provide it "as is" without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation. We may add, change, or discontinue features, and will give reasonable notice of material changes where practical.

8. Disclaimers & liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions you make based on the Service's advisory output. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence). (Final wording set at legal review.)

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from Account settings. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or to protect the Service and its users.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the law of the operator's place of establishment in the EU. (Exact jurisdiction confirmed at legal review.)
